Forgive me if there are some people for whom this is obvious, but there will also be others for whom it may not be. In reality, the United States Secret Service plays a crucial role in protecting the President and his family, to the extent of screening all mail addressed to them. It is highly probable that any suspicious or potentially threatening items would be intercepted before reaching the intended recipient. Furthermore, if individuals associated with a fringe group were so much as spected to be potential threats, the Secret Service would almost certainly bar their entry into secure areas and events where they could come into contact with protectees. If there were credible evidence suggesting that such a group was involved in sending threatening items or planning harm against the President or his family, then the outcome would be clear. Law enforcement agencies, including the Secret Service and FBI, would likely initiate investigations -- probably they would make arrests before the events shown here could happen. Having said that, mistakes do happen -- even very serious mistakes -- and they have happened in similar cases to this fictional one. That is why there are After Action Review processes not only in the event of a mistake, but even when everything goes according to plan. Please understand that I am not neuotypical, so I feel I have to write this even though I know there will be those who say my comment is stupid since the scenario is in a TV show.

How does the guy not know the 1st Commandment? I recognize most people don’t know the meaning of the 1st Commandment; don’t do God’s work, only He can judge not ordinary people.

How can you call yourself a Christian group if you don't even know the Ten Commandments?

Iconic entrance but a sign of weak writing that the head of literally any Judeo-Christian organization wouldn't know the Commandments. Yes, they're hypocrites but they've learned the texts by rote. It's the meaning of Scripture that escapes them.

The only problem I have with this scene is that the White House doesn’t belong to the President. It belongs to the citizens who put him there

I feel Toby himself messing up the commandments is less of a he doesn’t know them and more of a in the heat of argument he losts track of the argument or facts. Toby, speechwriter, later came to be known for getting so passionate he looses his words or thinking faculties

This is how I from a big big big distance feel about the christian right supporting the Trump/ maga movement.
